LPT: Should I submit my own carefully worked out & documented calculations?

My calculations, carefully done, put the valuation of my house about six bands lower than Revenue's. This is a considerable margin of difference and likely to be flagged. Do you think I should send them a copy of my calculations to forestall queries, or wait until they get in touch?
 
I am guessing its a mistake. I had something similar and they deleted the estimate. When I went back in (3 weeks later) I was able to just pick my band.
 
I am in a similar situation.

Revenue put my apartment in the 200k to 250k.

Its a 1 bed but looking at property priceregistry index I can see apartments been sold for between 77k and 89k. I am taking it these are 1 beds. Looking at daft they value my apt at 104k.

So my dilemma is which band to place my apartment in?

Any suggestions would help
