I purchased a 1.6 mark IV golf approx one year ago and had some hassle getting the log book from the garage, who were very hard to deal with,
I eventually got the logbook from them and was assured that everything was sorted with regards to ownership, me being an eejit never bothered to check the name on the logbook, since then the logbook has gone missing and I subsequently found out that the car is still in the previous owners name and not mine, can someone tell me how I can get a new logbook if the car is still in the previous owners name? its due tax and NCT is due soon...
