Hi there

We recently took a flight from Dublin to New delhi and we have lost one of our baggage. It has been 4 days and we are trying to find out where our baggage is.

My question is - We booked our flight using AIB std card so can somebody please let me know what are my entitlement from visa ?

Thanks

Unless you payed extra for travel insurance from Visa you are probably not entitled to anything. You will need to review the terms and conditons for your Visa card to determine if you are covered for lost luggage.
The basic insurance that is automatically provided by visa is not really a subsititute for full travel insurance. You may do better to contact the airline, as you may have some entitlements from them for lost luggage.

I used to work in lost luggage and in the vast majority of cases the bags were either mis-routed or missed a tight connection. You will have been given a PIR by the handling agents which you can use to make a claim against your travel insurance.Airline compensation is governed by the warsaw convention and is about €20 per kilo.Don't panic just yet though, four days is not that long in the world of lost luggage!
