OK so it would be nice if we could make all the financial and economic decisions that affect us by ourselves, but we sacrificed a lot of these anyway when we joined the Euro.
As the end of the day, I will always be Irish, and this is what separates us all. We may all be Europeans, but the Irish are different from the Germans, who are different from the Italians, French, Spanish etc. We all have our own identities and that'll never change.
