Looking on advice on trading in my car, is this a good deal?

I was thinking of buying a 2026 Renault Captur with 1000 km with asking price of 25,050 euro - White. Less trade-in of a Renault Fluence 2012 at 1, 150 euro with 150476 km on the clock.
Balance due: 23,900 euro. Just wondering if this is a good deal?

Personally I feel that taking a day off and going around a fair number of the Renault dealerships is your best bet to see if this is a good deal or not. Make sure to use a good car wash and hoover and clean the car to the best of your ability in the hopes that it will help with their offers.

Look at the websites possibly carzone.ie or the likes and see what is the best price for your car. I found in the past that some of the garages could be slightly cheaper for the new cars but not sure if that is still the case.

I could be wrong in thinking that its a bit late in the year to be buying a 2026 car and would you get a better deal in the new year so ask the garages for those figures also.

The figures they are quoting look reasonable, I'd have thought but a lot depends on the state of the two cars.
The mileage on the Fluence is low for 14 years.
Think though about all the money you'll be throwing away in depreciation on a year old car.
