Looking for your views on ASUS laptops

This is a quick question, and im hoping for a quick reply! I'm headin abroad for a week tomorrow and I need a new laptop to be waiting for me when I come back. Ive done as much lookin into this as possible and im hoping ive come up with the right solution. thing is, ive heard nothing of asus. i think the spec looks top notch for the price, so im hoping to get positive feedback on this piece. Thanks for that, link should be working now. tried searching for a review, nothing on this model yet, think it must be new. In case I STILL havent put in a working link, the model is ASUS F3E-AP246E.

I have an ASUS A6000.Bought it Xmas 2006.Its gets alot of family use and has survived! Not an expert on the techie side of things.

if it gets a lot of family use, then at least its robust!! thanks for that.
