Looking for your views on ASUS laptops

This is a quick question, and im hoping for a quick reply! I'm headin abroad for a week tomorrow and I need a new laptop to be waiting for me when I come back. Ive done as much lookin into this as possible and im hoping ive come up with the right solution. thing is, ive heard nothing of asus. i think the spec looks top notch for the price, so im hoping to get positive feedback on this piece. Have you Googled for online reviews of the specific model in question?

Thanks for that, link should be working now. tried searching for a review, nothing on this model yet, think it must be new. In case I STILL havent put in a working link, the model is ASUS F3E-AP246E.
 
I have an ASUS A6000.Bought it Xmas 2006.Its gets alot of family use and has survived! Not an expert on the techie side of things.
 
if it gets a lot of family use, then at least its robust!! :D thanks for that.
