It will be rarely used, but always handy to have around, so I might check out Lidl next time they have them for sale.
nothing wrong with the ones in aldi or lidl for diy.. great value for money
get as high a voltage rating on the motor/battery as you can within your budget.
I have an 18v black and decker one from Woodies which is great - make sure it's a variable speed trigger.

is around 48 euro in tesco ireland and the volt one is around 35euro I thinkI am a pretty useless DIYer but I was rehanging a door the other day and whilst trying to screw in 12 screws with a rubbish manual screwdriver it dawned on me that perhaps I should at least own something which would put the screws in in a couple of 1min rather than 10mins.
I know nowt about power tools, but can anyone recommend a decent one for the novice? I am thinking that instead of just having a power screwdriver it might be best to ask for advice on a drill too, as I do sometimes attempt to hang the odd photo or print too !!
