Long drain with shallow fall keeps getting blocked

My kitchen drain runs about 30m and has a fall of < 10 degrees.

It gets clogged up about once every 6 weeks.

I guess the problem is build up of fat and grease deposits, and I'm suspicious of the dish washer too.

I've tried various once off 'drain buster' solutions, but nothing seems to work.

Is there some sort of solution that I can add to the drain that will sort of 'live' in the drain and eat away at the solids?

Any other advice?

sounds like you have something small thats creating a blockage ie a badly fitting joint that's creating a lip that solids a getting caught on. have you tried rodding it. the d/washer problem is easily solved, just make sure the dishes are scraped fully before they are put in .

Is it just your kitchen sink that this drain serves? Is your washing machine going into it too? Sometimes the detergents / shampoos themselves can cause scum build-up - or so I was told by South Dub Co Council once.
Never pour any fat or oil down (even small quantities). Rinse the dishes before putting in dishwasher and maybe once a day put a bit of fairy liquid in the sink and pour a kettle of boiling water down. See if that works.

There is a right angle bend close to the man hole that I can't get even a wheeled rod around, and rodding it from the far end doesn't turn up anything, although I don't have enough rods to go the whole distance.

I clear if by forcing air down it by pumping a capped rod in and out of the pipe.

I'm pretty careful about solids getting down there. Sink and dishwasher both have filters.

Will probably have to get a plumber to put a scope camera down there and see what's going on.

If you are using a washing machine, I have had washing powder causing blockage, I now use washing liquid.
