Hi all,
Im a first time poster and would appreciate some help/advice. I'm a single parent who was just made redundant and I have a rented house in a co-op scheme.
My boyfriend rents some distance away so he comes to visit and stays 1-2 times a week. Now a co-op member has put the rent up based on this and has stated we are co-habiting, which is not the case as all our finances are completey separate and we have 2 different houses!
I read on one thread that someone is entitled to have a guest up to a maximum of 3 nights without it affecting any entitlements. Does anyone have any information on this, is it written in any policy or document etc.

As the co-op has nothing in writing regarding policies relating to guests and it is not mentioned in the lease its very annoying but my rent has increased by 400% and I have no wage, Im still waiting to be means tested. Any advice or information would be much appreciated.
