has anyone done an LSE/UoL distance learning course, I'm contemplating signing up for one of their diplomas initially and am wondering what the workload is like and what support they give?
 
Im doing one at the moment, University of London, Diploma in Philosophy. Just got the coursework recently, technically you start in October, but they send you the stuff as soon as you register and pay up so Ive got a head start :)

Quite a heavy workload, but Ive had a keen interest in philosophy in recent years so have not come across anything I do not understand - more just a case of formalising the knowledge.

The nice thing is you can choose to do less exams when it comes to the time if you feel youve taken on too much.

If you have any specific questions please feel free to ask, but bear in mind Ive only just started so am finding myself also.
