I have recently been approved for a Interest only mortgage so I was going to take the first steps and purchase a second property as a LONG TERM Investment (ie pension) .
The estimate rental income will cover the monthly payments + around 250 cash , I would also conside EHB tenents.
As i said it will be a long term 15+ year investment and the days of making a killing by equity increase are over but do you think its a good idea in the current housing market ?
What I am looking for is advice from other landlords out there of any web sites of guidlines on how such a property should be setup and maintained All advice welcome no matter how small.
