Hi all,

I'm thinking of buying in Limerick near the industrial estate in Raheen that has, amongst others, Analog Devices, Dell and Stryker as tenants.

Do you think this is a wise move and/or what is the trend in prices in Limerick like anyway?

Thanks in advance.

There are a lot of different housing estates within that area so on the plus side you would have plenty to choose from.
On the minus there are an over supply of rental properties and rental yields are not as high there as in other areas.

another location of interest may be near the cresent shopping centre, a friend has a house there and rents it no problem to folks working there. I think the house prices are a little less in this area too and more suitable for rental - ie smaller garden, not big family homes as in Raheen.

Hi Macdommy,

Lots of houses to choose from in that region.......Estates like Glencairin, Kilteragh ( think this might be where Nellys friend has the house), The Grange, Inis Lua, Aisling Gheal, ....here are a few local auctioneers you can choose from.....
