What are peoples view on this

I have not been there in yonks but my missus is curious and wants to see it

However their door policy on the weekend was sorry members only, I thought
my days of hearing this are long gone

They said come back during the week. Wanted to discuss with them the members only policy but not when we are not that busy....but just could not be bothered

Me I don't want to hang around a pub / club full of beautiful women.....then again

Anyone have any other experiences
 
I was forced to go once a few years ago and it was a horrible experience. I've never encountered so many posers in one place. It was like a storage room for reject boy-band members. The drink was very expensive and the music was dreadful, although if you like pounding rubbish dance music then you might enjoy it.

Didn't have any issues being non-members on a Saturday night.
 
Getting the name right might help your cause ;)

It's a place to be seen, and to rubber neck at what passes for celebs in this town. On one of the two times I was there the cast of Brookside were holding court.

About sums up my experience of the place too. Nice to see it once just for the craic, but there won't actually BE any craic there ( Irish sense of the word).
 
Have a look at the virtual tour on the website with a can of beer in your hand and you may as well be there
