Could anyone recommend where to buy internal lights on line? I have priced lights in local shops but they seem to be a lot cheaper to buy on line from england. Did anyone ever use either of the following websites: castlegatelights.co.uk and lightingdirect.co.uk. Both seem to be good value but I have never heard of either before. Any info would really be appreciated.
thanks

I bought many of my interior lights in Next - they have a good selection and the quality is excellent for the prices paid.

What's the best fluorescent light for a small kitchen - the long or the rounded one's?

I hear new house's have to have light switches between 900mm and 1200mm in height for old or disabled people. My mother is getting her house re-wired and getting a Council grant - she was told the new light switches dont have to conform to this as it's an exisiting house and she would prefer not having the switch'es lowered (naturally more chasing involved). Any opinion's?

According to the Wiring Rules, in dwellings light switches and sockets must be mounted between 400mm and 1200mm from the floor. The same rules apply to existing and new dwellings.
(In commercial premises it's 900mm to 1200mm for light switches)
