Just thought i would bring something to the attention of people who may not try this, for the past few years my motorbike insurance when due for renewal is always twice the cost of the previous year, i have contact Liberty and complained and as a result they would offer a small discount.
Instead of accepting this i simply go on the website a get a new quote using the exact information from the previous year, the new business quote is always the same as the previous years lower cost.
I have complained to their compliance depts but they couldn't care less simply saying it is worked out on the day of quotation risk rate, this is strange as the new business quote is always the same cost any time of the year.
this is also the case with other insurers, my brothers car insurance was due recently with Aviva an he did the same thing and reduced the renewal by €250.
