Hi
I have a Apartment that is ready to be rented out ,My question is am i best just contacting one Estate Agent of will i give it to two or three.
Any ideas?

Would you not rent it out yourself via DAFT or the likes? You'd save approx 6% of the annual rent, plus VAT. I did it myself this year. Wasn't too bad. It was certainly worth it as I saved E1,400!

Unless you want them to manage it too which would obviously be more expensive.

I want to get it rented ASPA .One estate agent is about 900 to 1000 and the other is 450 to 1000.I might try it myself ,i was just wondering if it is possable to give it to a few estate agents.
Thanks for your reply

One estate agent should do. They'll all put it on DAFT anyways.

Depending on where it is and the rent, you should let it easily enough, assuming you don't mind students!

Where is it? Have you not tried DAFT yourself first? My house rented was rented in 24hrs after putting it on DAFT.

With the huge over supply of rented property out there, your apartment will be just another number to the estate agent. More than likely they will have a lot more properties on there books belonging to friends, maybe themselves, which will be ahead of you in the queue for tenents.
Atleast by doing it yourselve you know exactly the demand for the property and you can sell it better to potential tenents. I have used Daft and found it very good but if its otherside Dublin made you would be better off advertising it in the local papers, shops etc.
