my mother works for a company that recently was destroyed by a fire. it looks like they are not go to rebuild it in the same industry will probaly be built into apartments.

she has worked for this company for over 20 years and now looks like she will be let go as there is no work .

Is she entitled to redundancy . She was only working there for 3 half days and would not have been earning more than 250 a week but she enjoyed workin outside the home and the social aspect to it.

Was she employed thru the books ?? , or was it cash in hand ..

I do not think she is entitled .... but await correction, due to not working 19 hours a week.

she actually worked 40 hrs a week but for some unknown reason he was only puttin her through for 16 hrs a week.

Hopefully if all works out ok for her.

Was she not aware of this or something or did she collude with the employer by facilitating such an arrangement?
