Hi Guys,
wonder if any of you can answer this for me:

I order a fridgefreezer online and pay for it on behalf of a friend- friend reimburses me for cost.
Fridgefreezer is delivered to friends house but in my name.
I later phone company and request receipt- receipt is also sent to friend's house, but in my name. I email friend to inform them that receipt has been requested and they should receive it shortly.
In the meantime we fall out.
Am i right in thinking that as the receipt will be addressed to me(in name) that he cannot legally open it despite the fact that i told him he should be receiving it and he owns the fridge freezer? In short my friend would have no consumer rights whatsoever as i was the purchaser, and would also have no rights to any paperwork, to prove how much was actually paid for the fridgefreezer.
Thanks in advance

Hi Sandals, was also hoping for info on the legal side regarding whether the friend would be able to open letter containing receipt or not.
