Anyone know where I could find pay scale for Legal Executive??

I know most scales will show perhaps years 1 - 3 ......... perhaps someone might have an idea as to rough payscale for conveyancing legal executive with 14 years exp!

Thanks guys ......... any advice appreciated x

From what I can see of legal exec salaries, they tend to peak at newly qualified solicitors rate and the only way up from there would be to qualify as a solicitor yourself. That depends on where you work of course. In-house legal departments tend to pay better.

What about law searchers are they on the same scale as legal executives?

The Brightwater salary survey for 2008 puts legal executives working in general practice in Dublin on a scale of 30-45,000 for 3-7 years experience. It doesn't go up any further. It all really depends where in the country you are based

In my experience it depends on who you work for and in what areas you are experienced in. Also location is another factor.
I would agree that the general payscale would be 30 - 45k for someone with a few years under their built.
Though I have seen jobs advertised offering up to €55k - generally for specialised areas such as banking or debt collection where finding good experienced Legal Execs is difficult.
