Hi Guys

I have worked for a Company for the last 3.5 years from the start and build up a successful business as a Senior Sales person, I decided to buy in to this very franchise some place else and I let the MD know 1 year ago and kept him informed along the way.

The other week I handed in my notice and told him I was finishing up. Now he tells me anything I sell this month and if it is not collected by the time I leave I will not receive commission on it. Most people pay 30-40 days. We receive commission a month in arrears and on collections, I don't have a contract with him. Some thanks for trying to help him get someone to replace me and keep him informed ! Any views or anything I can do ?

I asked the Sales Manager this 4 months ago and he said 30 days after i leave, another guy left and he paid 30 days but set a high target for him.
Sales Manager changing his story now !

Thanks again

If you are going to be selling the exact same stuff you could divert your energy for this month into getting the prospective customers to hold off and buy from your franchise in a couple of weeks.

Davies Stockbrokers lost a court cause a couple of months ago regarding not paying commission to employees leaving. You should be able to Goggle the details and it fits you situation point it out to your employer.
