Leaving Australia with 18,000 dollars

I am leaving Australia to come home, I am taking 18,000 dollars from Austalian account, can I transfer onto a Bank of Ireland Credit card ( I don't think so) if so the alternative would be to take out in travellers cheques or cash, I don't have bank account at home because I closed same so wiring not option at moment only if I get family member to open account but again I am not sure this will work with prove of address needed etcc...whats my best option
 
Open a moneybookers credit card account and transfer onto it.
There is no limit to how much you can add onto the card which is a prepaid Mastercard.

Another option is to get someone related to you to get you several O2 moneycards, again this is a prepaid Mastercard, these can be got from any O2 shop in Ireland, note you are only allowed 1 card in your own name, Max limit to load is 10,000 once registered.
