I’ve a house leased for 20 yrs to an approved housing body for county council use. For the first few rent reviews we used to get 3 rent valuations from auctioneers and take an average. Now it seems they want to use the rate of inflation in an rpz as the rent review.
Have i any case in trying to get the old method of increase as the lease was drawn before rpz was introduced. Also the rent I charge does not affect the sitting tenants as the council ultimately pays
