leaking velux windows

Hi, I have a large velux window in the roof. It is leaking at the lower left hand side corner area when it rains. Looked at it closely and there does not seem to be anything worn or missing. The window is about 8 years old. Would it be the seals that need replacing? Is it still under guarantee? I live in Dublin south area.

We had the same issue. We gave it an good clean and rubbed a very light film of cooking oil around the rubber seal and it has not leaked since! Sometimes small pieces of grit break the seal!

Could be outside flashing gone wrong.

I think they have a 10 year warranty. They will come out and inspect and replace under warranty, but if they find that is was installed incorrectly you will have to pay the call out fee.
