leak in house

Hi,
There is a leak in house, not sure where coming from( downstairs only and affecting sitting room floor), house is built 3 years. Is this covered by homebond or the builder still

Had something similar last year and turned out to be the back boiler behind the fireplace (probably not likely to be the same in your house if it is a new house). Anyway it destroyed my wooden floor and damaged the walls, but this was all covered by house insurance.

possibly best to notify your own house insurers and let them follow up any potential recovery aspect with builder. you will need to identify where the leak is coming from though.
