Large Insulated curtain material

House is well insulated except for a really old garage door that I want to insulate in winter months.

Is there some sort of flexible material I can put on a roller over the door or curtain pole that will do the job, I dont really care what it looks like.

Probably looking at 8ft by 8ft.

PVC strip curtains are coming up in google search, the types shops use to separate freezers in warehouses. anyone put something similar in?

use good quality blackout lining you could even double it over. you can get it on e bay for a fraction of the price it is in the shops

You could use a large fleece blanket or two. Using a pkt of safety pins, pin it up, pin together and even pin in a hem with pennies in it if you want some weight at the bottom to keep drafts out.



Very cheap. Very easy.
