Land registry fees

Hi all,
I have a quick question.....trying to find a solicitor to handle purchase of apartment as part of DCC Aff Housing.....have been quoted various amounts....but only one has mentioned land Registry fees to me. Do I need to pay Land Registry fee? And roughly how much can I expect to pay?

Land Registry and Registry of Deeds fees are outlined on www.landregistry.ie. Which you will face depends on the title. You will have to pay something though and you should aks solicitors for an outline of ALL costs (e.g. professional conveyancing fee, outlays such as Land Registry etc. and VAT) when pricing around.
