Kitchen Knives

Just bought a new set of kitchen knives ... the ones i had were cheap and impossible to use - but now i am wondering how do i dispose of the old ones? i presume I cant just throw them in the bin. Does anyone have any ideas?

Wrap them in old newspaper and sellotape them to seal and then throw them in the bin...

or reuse them in the workshop or garden

Thanks for the ideas... think I will wrap them up as suggested.. they arent worth keeping for garden etc.

Charity shop should take them - I'm sure they could be used by someone.
