Can anyone recommend a good hotel in centre of Milan for a weekend break?
Managed to get two flights there for Paddys weekend and just need a good (value) hotel. Have checked a few of the usual websites but nothing like a personal recommendation.

Stayed there last April. Just off the Duomo right in the centre of Milan. Hotel was reasonably cheap and very comfortable.

try hotel Serena, bus to central station from airport,then 10 minutes walk to hotel, renovated recently, very good, I paid 40 euro per night in may for a single, met a couple who paid 65 for a double, breakfast included.Its just off Rio de Janero which is the main drag.I booked on line, and paid in hotel. try google "serena milan" or simular search.
