KBC upped rate by 0.25%

We only got our mortgage 4 months ago.

KBC sent out a letter they are upping the interest rate by a quarter.

I assume that a few people got these.

Yeah we got this. Also KBC has just informed us that we have hit the 6/7 year ceiling on relief this month so with this reduction in interest relief and a .25% variable rate increase from next month, our mortgage is now hitting the 1300 mark, an extra 180 a month compared to what we were paying last month, Jan 2013.

Mortgage interest relief runs from Jan to Dec in year terms, it shouldn't be reducing mid year so I'd check with them what they mean.
