KBC credit card

Hi All
I am wondering is there any view on what will happen to KBC credit cards and are they moving over to BoI and will they have the same benefits as the existing KBC card. Link below about BoI. I recently moved over to EBS for my current account and I want to get ahead with moving my credit card as well. Looking at aib platinum currently but wouldn’t mind going to BoI if they gave the same 1% reward as KBC. Any opinions?

I doubt AIB will offer cashback as there will be very little competition left in the credit card market and AIB never seems to try very hard to compete with other banks anyway.

KBC have a note on their site stating they will inform customers if there are changes - I would read this as KBC showing that they intend to remove the Cashback before Cards migrate to BOI.

"We will provide you with at least 30 days’ notice of any withdrawal or amendment to the credit card reward feature by text, email, letter or through our Digital Services"
