just started new job, when can i ask for hols?

Hi There,

I just changed my job a month ago, and i didn't take my summer hols in previous job, but now after all this job hunting, interviews and getting used to new job stress i feel like i need a bit of break..

So i was just wondering when is appropriate to ask for a week off, how long should i work for him before i ask?
