We have decided to go our separate ways after child reaches 18...which will be in two years. Very amicable...no issues ...really anxious to get this sorted without involving too much expense..
House...no mortgage.
No real outstanding debts
Small credit union loan..

Agreed we will try keep house I can have it ..provided that she gets a reasonable cheque to leave and start again.

She has weekly social welfare payment.
May be able to return to work in the not too distant future to support herself.

If we sit down and agree everything without any problems..can we just get it put down on paper ...bring it to a solicitor together ...and after solicitor does what they are obliged to do ..get it " rubber stamped" as such and just get on with our lives into future?
