Hi folks

As you may know, last week the Irish League of Credit Unions launched "What's left" of monthly disposable income tracker survey. They will be releasing results next in July, Oct and Dec. This month's results showed that after essential bills had been paid that 735,000 Irish families - 21% of Irish adults - were left with €75 a month.

I am a features writer with The Irish Times, and I'm looking for a number of people to interview - either on or off the record - who would talk to me about the financial challenges they are currently having. What do you spend a month, and what do you spend it on? What don't you spend money on any more? How are you managing? What do you worry about re the future? What kind of things have you cut down on in recent times?

If you would like to chat with me a bit before deciding if you'd want to be interviewed, please do. I think this is a really important story that we don't hear enough about, and there are many people trying their best to survive right now.

You can contact me at [email protected] and I will get right back to you.

Many thanks

Rosita
