I am currently working part-time and claiming jobseekers benefit for the days I am available for work (3 days a week).
I have only been with my current employer for 4 months. I am hoping to get pregnant the end of the year - does anybody know if I would be entitled to the state maternity benefit - I only worked part-time in the years 05 and 06, so my question is - how long do I have to be working for before I can claim maternity leave? and also what is the current rate?
