What is the best (cheapest) way to travel from Airport to NYC, near Times Sq. - 8 adults.

Google NYC limousine services and price an 8 seater that can accomodate you all and your baggage should run you around $100, they will meet you at the gate and drive you to your hotel entrance, painless.

I got that wrong jhegarty , was pricing it on the airtrainfare from Newark and not JFK.
Yes Airtrain and subway is cheaper ($7). A limo would cost about $80 , so while €3 a head dearer it might be worth it for the experience.

I recommend the Airtrain and Subway. Last time I was over it only cost about 15 bucks return using this method. Like everything in the States, it's dead easy to use and find your way around on it. I love the Yanks for making life so easy.
