All, I just received and increase to my pay from work.

All my cut off points are standard btw, I have no children under 18, I pay a mortgage on my house, not married.
My company pay my health insurance which is valued at €148p.m and the match the contribution to my pension.
Details;
Old salary gross was €96,255 and new is €105,000 (I get a bonus but that doesn't count in this as it's yearly and we wont get this year).
My old net was €4,666 and my new net is €4,813 (all figures rounded off). As my pension is a % contribution, there there is an extra €66 gone to that.
This means a net increase of €147 p.m. after pension contribution that's €214, which is about 30% of my gross increase of €729, surely I can't have been taxed 70% of my gross raise amount?

@deadlyduck - Those links dont work for me.

@ClubMan I suppose I am, but I thought tax credits were better in 2022, no worse.

The other this ng has changed is that my daughter (who lives with me and goes to school) turned 18 in Sept'.
Would I have lose anything for that?

When I look at revenue, I don't get the single person tax credit anymore, can I claim this until my daughter is 21?

Tax credits and reliefs

Personal Tax Credit
€1,650.00
Employee Tax Credit
€1,650.00
Single Person Child Carer Tax Credit
€1,650.00

Medical Insurance Relief
€200.00

If she's still in full time education, you can.

The 2022 figures are correct for standard single person's tax credits. I think the previous posters missed that there's €148 BIK on health insurance to added to the figures in the table in the OP, along with €200 per year health insurance credit.

@Ciru75 - Yes, she is still in school and hopefully will move on to college in Dublin.
I didn't know BIK for health affected my PAYE contributions.
