I am shoping around for a laptop for a small business,
Just wondering what "clued in" people think
I have anoffer from Dell for a Latitude D505 including:

its not very good value
centrino is good for battery life but runs at slower speeds.
apart from that the spec looks fairly average. you should have a look at aldi or lidl . they both offer great laptop packages for 1499 which come with top range named components inc graphic chips so their machines are essentially desktop replacements.
if you only want it for work, you can get a machine for £5-600 stg from pcw or dabs.com which will do exactly the same job.

Try the Dell factory outlet for comparison but don't limit your shopping around to just them.
