J Joan Perry Guest 15 Jan 2011 #1 Is there no provision for paternity leave in Irish Employment Law. I became aware of a foreign national working in a local supermarket (where he has worked for several years) whose wife has just given birth to twins. They already have a three year old. Is he entitled to no time off at all? Seems incredible in this day and age.
