Hi,
I don't understand why I end up paying more tax if I claim overtime at the end of month, whereas when I claim overtime on fortnightly basis I get slightly more money in a month.
For example,
If I claim overtime fortnighly, i get ~1600 x 2 =~3200 in a month
If I claim overtime at the end of month, I get =~3050 in a month.
Why is this? Could someone please clarify? Is there weekly threshold? above which you end up paying 40%, instead of 20% tax.
Thanks
