Is there broad support for the current Public Sector strikes?

Screening capacity is not capped by unions.

When a day of screening is cancelled, people are not deleted from the waiting list. They are rescheduled. After previous strikes, extra capacity was added to clear the backlog.

The date someone is screened is not set in stone. People are screened within a statistical risk window. Being screened a few weeks later makes a very small difference on a population basis, which is how all of this is calculated and why screening works in the first place.

Surprising that people are so focused on screening which only accounts for about 1 in 20 cancers detected.
