Is there any one weedkiller that will kill both grass and weeds together in the one spray?

Been using salt for years and no evidence whatsoever of corrosion.

. . . just to add:- I've been using store bought weedkiller for years. In the past few years that seems to be eco unfriendly or something and the make-up of the weedkiller was changed for whatever reason. The recipe I posted earlier works

Agree - Salt is bad for the earth itself - I would not recommend it for killing off grass / weeds from an area that you are hoping to re-sow with grass / flowers / shrubs etc...

I assume the home made remedy is in relation to driveways / patio areas ?

@Jazz01 asked a good question. The answer is I wanted to kill off weeds on a patio, a driveway and on three graves. Do not use the stuff on a lawn or flowerbed unless you want everything killed off there.

and kill off the soil itself... we need to remember that the earth itself is a living organism...that needs to be fed, watered and cared for. Putting chemicals into the earth does impact it's ability to sustain other life ( grass / shrubs / flowers etc... )

Salt is magic for driveways and patios. I buy the 500g ones from Lidl, for 29c each. Cheap, effective and safe.
