Is there a time limit to receiving Mortgage Income Supplement

I have been receiving Mortgage Interest Supplement for 18 months after being made redundant. I am attending college but that finishes next month and I will try to get a job or maybe go back to college. Does anyone know if there is a time limit on the Mortgage Interest Supplement?

There is no time limit per se (unless you have been awarded it on a discretionary basis, in which case it is 12 months max), although it is supposed to be reviewed twice a year, and if they come to the conclusion that there is no reasonable prospect of you repaying the loan, then they could end payment.
