Is there a statute of limitation for tax?

I have been in receipt of a dividend (very small) from Vodafone since 2002 (received the shares as part of Eircom sell-off of Eircell). This has varied from ~GBP£7 in early years, up to ~GBP£70 in recent years.

I have not paid any tax on this dividend. I would like to sort this out now.
How far back do I have to go? Is there a limit of a certain number of years, beyond which unpaid tax is just written off?

Unfortunately as I understand it, there is a limit of 4 years for when you can claim unclaimed allowances but NO limit for when the revenue can chase you.

Relax - Revenue aren't going to be worried about arrears of a few euro each year. Its quite likely anyway that you have some unclaimed credits etc to compensate. If in doubt, address the past 3/4 years by filing Form 12 returns and see how that goes.

I sold an etf recently and was looking into the tax implications realised I should have paid tax on about 300€ worth of dividends over the last 3yrs. How do approach revenue about this?
