Is my yellow tank of calor gas butane or propane?

I am looking at buying a barbque a gas one and I already have a nearly full tank of calor gas in a yellow tank the type you get in a petrol station. I have seen a barbque I want but it says propane gas only. I will by one that will suit the gas I have as I have no other use for this gas.

Unfortunatly for you its Butane.

You can use the butane if you get a butane regulator for it. Quite cheap. Slim
