Keyboard layout could be an issue as detailed in a thread of mine included in the search results above.As regards connections etc ....... no probs.
Or just snip the US 2 pin plug off and wire on an Irish 3 pin one. Unless you will travel a lot in which case adaptors are a better idea.Mains lead - you can source an alternative here or use a 2-pin to 3-pin adapter.
Yes - but my point in the other thread was about other characters which were not readily (or at all) accessible using the Irish keyboard configuration thus necessitating on the fly switching to US mode as required.you can reset the keyboard to european when you set the language just pick UK english then you get the euro by pressing ctrl alt and 4 . I got one in Florida last year. Saved a fortune no probs with software or anything just had to change plug.
I'm typing now on a laptop I bought in Best Buy a month ago...I saved a fortune! Buy two if you can! (The only risk is that the warranty won't be valid outside the US...turn the computer on before you leave the US to mak esure its OK)
