Is it possible to retrieve deleted photos from SD card?

Photos were deleted (accidentally!) from my SD card when trying to view the photos.

Is there any way to retrieve them?
 
Thanks guys. I'll try it tomorrow. Too tired now..... I'll need my wits about me!
 
I heard good things about Recuva.
Recuva recovers files deleted from your Windows computer,
Recycle Bin, digital camera card, or MP3 player. And it's free!

But im kinda confuse, how does it work in digital cam and MP3 players?
do I have to install it direct to the gadget or to the memory card of the
gadget.
Please clarify coz I am also interested in this software



 
Well, I tried the cgsecutiry.org but I couldn't make head nor tail of it.

I then downloaded Recuva. I did have to pay €20 for it, but I think it's def worth it. I seems to be able to recover just about anything from anywhere!

My problem was with a memory card, so I just slotted that into the laptop and it searched and found all my lost photos and more!
