Is it possible to move to interest only?

I have an investment property which i have rented for the past few years. My tenants have now indicated that they shall be leaving at the end of November. As funds are tight at the moment I am just wondering if my financial provider will allow me to go interest only (on the rented property) for a few months. I am fearful that I may not get new tenants for a while as November isn't probably the best time of year to rent out a house. I wouldn't be in a position to cover the additional payments on my own. Has anyone had any similar experiences. The rental property mortgage is up to date - actuall about €1k in credit but I will need to cash this in to pay back the tenants deposit.

You won't know until you ask the bank.
But banks are going to get harder and harder on investment properties in the short future.
If the house and rent is good, you should get a tenant quick. There is a demand for rental homes in most of Dublin, assuming that is where it is?
