Just wondering if anyone knows if it's possible to do exams in conveyancing and or probate only. I'm an accountant by trade and previously referred client work to a solicitor. I'm now considering doing exams so ultimately I can do this myself. I looked at the law society website but there doesn't appear to be any diploma courses in either of thise subjects.

Any recommendations for where I should start?

Thanks.

What do you mean by exams? Do you mean the PPC courses in the Law Society? If so then the answer is no. TBH I can't see how doing the courses would do you any good - I doubt if you would get PI to do the work unless you were a qualified solicitor. And for the record - conveyancing is very complicated, very tricky, and it takes a few years to know what you are doing. Not an easy road at all and definitely not worth it given what fees are today. Think you might have a very unrealistic idea of the work tbh.
