Looking for some advice.
My father passed away last year and his WIll created a Trust for my mother who has Alzheimer's Disease.
I am now in the process of setting up a Bank Account for the Trust and the bank is looking for a Trust Deed. Do I need a Trust Deed if the Trust was created by Will?
I was dealing with a solicitor last year and I asked her if she needed to do anything to set up the Trust, she said at that stage that all that was required was an Accountant to register the trust for Tax etc. and no mention of a Trust Deed.
We got an accountant who will register the Trust for tax and he has just told us to go to the Bank to get the account set up.
We went to the bank to day with form, Will etc and they have come back look for a Trust Deed.
Anyone have any ideas?
